D-Mack Media would like to announce the release an update for the Joomla! 1.5.x NATIVE CurrencyConverter Component! This release fixes an issue with the 'path' to the component for websites on sub-domains. There is also a couple mistakes fixed in the Admin backend. *Note* This will be last revision for the component as we will be releasing a CurrencyConverter module in the near future. It will be much more configurable than the component and, of course, you can 'position' the module anywhere on your site - even within content! This component (and the upcoming module) uses AJAX functionality so the page doesn't have to refresh when fetching the rates or making the calculations. It also uses Yahoo Finance to obtain the up-to-the minute conversion rates and presently there are 147 denominations to choose from. There are MANY configurable options to choose from in the Admin configuration, including editing ALL the front end text and complete control of the HTML code to display the component!
