Hi,

I am a newbie to this forum. I tested your demo of the Currency Converter and was impressed.

The module installed very easily and all seemed to work fine.

However, I get the following error after pressing the "Convert" button on the site (http://www.lemak.ca):

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I have verified/tried the following based on other discussions that I read in your forum:

- PHP version 5.2.9
- Port 80 is enabled by my webhost
- Joomla version 1.5.9
- "sockets" are enabled
- "allow_url_fopen" is set to on
- added my domain to the ajax.js file

The Currency Converter component gave me the same results.

Any ideas?

I haven't got any ideas, but I was wondering if you ever got a solution
as I would like to do the same thing. Cheers!

No solutions. I moved on to another (linked) converter

That being said, I still believe that this converter would be my top choice if it worked.

Please keep me informed if you find a solution.
