Hi, I've just installed Recommend a friend 2.0.1 on Joomla 1.5.4. I created the menu link which appears fine - but when clicked on fails to load anything. My system has all that is required to run the component. Can't think what the problem is. Any suggestions?

what do you mean by: "fails to load"? Do you get an error message? I have 1.5.4 and it works correctly (on my localhost)(at my webhost site I get an 404 on saving in the backend (another post)).
Thanks for your reply. Clicking on the menu link causes a blank page to load, with the message in the bottom left-hand corner - Done. (I'm using Firefox)
As a layman in this. Have you checked the file permissions of the files under /component/com_recommendfriends?
Maybe there is something wrong. Not readable to the world?

I've checked and the component works fine on my box using Firefox and Joomla! 1.5.4. Just guessing, but it sounds like it might possibly have something to do with the server your site is hosted on.
Would it possible to provide a link to your site where you have the component installed? (don't know if it will help, but it might). You could send me a Private Message if you want to keep it quite.
Any other info you can provide might also be helpful:
- Type of server you're running on?
- Have you had issues with any other component?
- What other components/modules/plugins to do you have installed (i.e. any SEO stuff?)
Without more info, my hands are tied.
