Nevermind, just renamed th en-GB php file with the spanish. It worked.

Can you tell me if your site has Spanish set as the 'Default' Language?
The component does use a routine to see what the 'default' language is set as on your Joomla! installation (i.e. for the component to use the Spanish translation file, your site would have to be set with Spanish as the 'Default' language.
If a site has a default language not included with the component package, it reverts to the English translation file.
But it seems like you've found a work-around... that's great too!

The default language is english but the information has to be spanish. as you have read found a work around to this issue may not be the correct way, but it works. Keep up the good work, I love this component. makes my life a little less stressful
